On Thursday, I had the pleasure to listen to Andy Cunningham, the former PR consultant to Steve Jobs, Motorola, and other Silicon Valley tech companies on her life lessons working in such capacity.
I had to chuckle with her quote from Woody Allen, "80% of life is just showing up." How true.
Her talk inspired me to continue doing what I can to help some of Chicago's rising tech companies. Maybe I'll meet a Steven Jobs of tomorrow. You never know, but you won't unless out and network.
Most importantly, the event was organized by the Midtown Educational Foundation and it was equally great to learn and support their mission of assisting low-income urban youth. http://www.midtown-metro.org/
